Reporting to an accomplished Senior Director of Finance, and overseeing a small staff of professional accountants, this role will manage the overall consolidation and financial reporting of a large portfolio.
The role requires both technical accounting expertise as well as the ability to see the larger business issues across a broad and geographically diverse portfolio. The ability to lead a team and establish strong business relationships across the company will be key. There will be significant exposure to senior executives and the ability to quickly establish credibility is a critical success factor. The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally honed in the real estate sector. Strong technical accounting skills, great leadership and people skills with the ability to delve into the detail yet move to a more oversight role are required. This is a leadership position and the perfect candidate will be ambitious, results-oriented and thrive in a fast paced business environment.
