The Association is a progressive and forward-thinking organization whose highly qualified members demonstrate an ongoing commitment to adhering to the highest standards of technical knowledge, ethics and business practices.
Reporting to a talented Vice President, and managing a team of about 20 professionals, the Director, Professional Development will be responsible for the idea inception, development, production and delivery of market leading professional development programs, products and services to members across the country. The Director will transform the culture of the group to a business oriented, high performing team that interacts cross functionally to produce high quality products and services for sale to members.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader in the commercialization of professional knowledge, programs and services, with at least 5 years’ experience in adult education. A professional business designation is desirable.
The successful candidate will also have strong leadership, communication and relationship building skills as well as highly developed business acumen and change management skills. In addition, the new Director will be able to foster creativity in product development and delivery and establish a culture of collaboration, open communication and accountability.
