Our client has built one of the largest property management companies in North America providing full-service community management to more than 8,000 developments across Canada and the U.S. As they continue to grow, they are adding to their finance and accounting team in their Ontario Regional office.
TheManager, Financeisresponsiblefor leadingthe Client Accounting departmentconsistingofapproximately12 associates.TheFinance Managerwillalsosupport a dynamic and committedVP, Financein meeting the various objectives of the Finance Department.
Other responsibilities will include reviewing monthly client financials and budgets, working directly with clients to resolve finance-related issues and concerns, supporting the property managers in the client budgeting process, process improvements, and attending client board meetings approximately once a month.
It’s a fast-paced, collaborative and client-focused environment and it is essential the Manager, Finance have excellent time management and organizational skills, strong communication skills, the ability to effectively manage a team, and a solid technical accounting foundation. A CPA, CA designation is essential and preference will be given to those with experience in real estate and/or property management.
