Manager, Operational Finance – Posting 1511

Posted:October 22, 2013
Location:Toronto

This position has been filled.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recently announced the 16 nominees that are up for the coveted induction that will take place in the spring of 2014. Will KISS or Nirvana make the cut? Or will Linda Ronstadt or Peter Gabriel be one of 2014’s lucky honorees? Their fate will be determined by a voting body of more than 600 artists, historians and members of the music industry who will assess their contributions to the development and perpetuation of rock and roll.

What if there was a Hall of Fame in the world of accounting and finance? Who would be inducted? Could it be you in the future?

Our client is a large Canadian public company headquartered in Toronto with a growing portfolio of assets and subsidiaries around the world and they are currently seeking a Manager, Operational Finance who would undeniably have that Hall of Fame status.

This role involves the oversight of finance and operations. The Manager, Operational Finance will be responsible for risk management, treasury, financial reporting, liquidity and financial planning and analysis with an emphasis on analytics and performance measurement.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and hard working finance professional with a strong sense of self and a keen willingness to work and persevere. They should be smart, ambitious and tenacious, someone who will do what it takes to succeed, yet always have their feet planted firmly on the ground. Big egos won’t work here…
