Do you sometimes feel like Goldilocks at work – this room is too hot, but this one is too cold? That’s where our clients come in. They design energy efficient (and effective) mechanical systems for office buildings, residential developments and other large-scale buildings.
With multiple projects underway at any one time, and their business growing, they are looking to add a Project Analyst to their team. This role is an excellent opportunity for the right person to build on their existing communication, organizational and analytical skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The attitude here is very much “all-hands-on-deck” rather than “that’s not in my job description.”
Key responsibilities include: reviewing project proposals and setting them up in the company’s computer system; working closely with members of the finance, field and engineering teams to track project status and site reviews; assisting with the implementation of an employee utilization module; providing back-up to the accounting and administrative teams as needed; and ad-hoc assignments.
There is plenty of opportunity here to take on new projects and responsibilities as the company continues to grow. Excellent work-life-balance – minimal overtime, every Friday afternoon off and flexible hours – are the icing on the cake.
The ideal candidate will possess: excellent communication skills and be comfortable working directly with partners and senior managers; solid Excel skills; exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; a strong work ethic; initiative; and a desire to learn. A college or university graduate with work experience preferably in an architectural/engineering/construction consulting environment, they are ready to take on a new challenge.
