Reporting to the Treasurer, the Associate, Risk Management will be responsible for preparing, recommending and executing daily hedge and cash management transactions. The company participates in an array of funding structures and related hedging programs. The structures can be complex and so the supporting analytics and risk models too are complex. Every transaction is significant and a small oversight could mean big swings to the bottom line. The role requires a unique combination of skills where operations, strategy and communication skills converge. The successful candidate will be curious, meticulous and a go getter. You will take every opportunity to insert yourself at every level of the transaction. Nothing is beneath you and everything is a learning opportunity.

The team is small and the stakes are high. This position offers a breadth of treasury responsibilities and exposure to senior level executives. Your expertise will be valued and rewarded.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • 5-10 years of capital markets experience
  • CFA completed or near completion
  • strong knowledge of Bloomberg
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills, ambition and drive
  • knowledge of asset back securitization an asset
