Reporting to a dynamic and accomplished VP Finance, the Controller will oversee a large team to manage all of the operational accounting and finance for the land, housing and condominium development operations, both nationally and globally. The role requires technical accounting expertise and the high level of skill and finesse required to manage a large and geographically disparate team. This is a new role within the organization and is anticipated to have a significant profile with the senior leadership team. Who you are, your skills and how you conduct yourself will matter and will stand you in good stead for future opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) with 5-8 years of relevant post qualification experience, ideally honed in the real estate sector. Strong technical accounting skills, great leadership and people skills along with a healthy dose of common sense and business skills will be critical to success. The perfect candidate will be ambitious, results oriented and thrive in a fast paced, rapidly growing business environment.
