Our client is currently seeking a skilled Director of Finance to join their high-caliber team of professionals, working within their downtown Toronto offices. Reporting to an accomplished CFO and leading a team of four, you will oversee all corporate accounting activities for this highly-sophisticated, multi-faceted organization. Key areas of accountability include all corporate and general accounting functions, treasury and cash management, tax accounting and planning as well as all management reporting, including quarterly and annual consolidated reporting and ad-hoc project related reporting. This ideal candidate will be a designated finance professional (CPA, CA) with 8-10 years’ progressive experience, including a minimum of 5 years post-designation, working within a mid-to-large, complex organization. Superior technical accounting knowledge and critical thinking skills, along with a proven ability to lead and mentor a team, are essential, as well as a strong commitment to superior quality and customer service.
